This cannot have been the first question Bengt Parmell asked himself when, after many years, he made the decision to sell his boat Corall, a Riva Tritone #209 from 1962. Corall had been in the Parmell family’s possession for more than 30 years, but everything comes to an end and now it was time to find a new and good home for Corall.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The boat was put up for sale and after a while Bengan got a call from New Zealand:
“-Hey, you have a nice Tritone for sale!” said Bruce Judge. Oh, a call from New Zealand, the guy must really be interested, Bengan thought.
-“The flight from Prague to Stockholm only takes a couple of hours, right?” said Bruce.
Bengan was a little confused, yes that’s right, are you in Europe now?
And so they met in Nyn\u00e4shamn, sixty kilometers south of Stockholm. After a while they came to an agreement, but the transport would not be an easy operation, since a Tritone is too wide to fit into a 40-foot container. But everything worked out and now Corall is in place in New Zealand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In January, I (Jan-Martin) and my wife Christine went to New Zealand and of course we had to see Corall down there, as Bruce had become the newest member of Riva Club Sweden.
Bruce and his wife Billie welcomed us right away and we spent a night in their amazing beach villa in Paraparaumu, 60 km north of Wellington.
Let the pictures tell the rest of the story, and the best part is that we all have the opportunity to meet Bruce and Billie at our Run&Fun 2025 during 10\/7-14\/7 2025 in S\u00f8nderborg, Denmark this summer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
