Some Pictures from Riva Run&Fun 2012
This year’s Run&Fun was as usual a new experience, even if we were back in Nynäshamn again!
Together with over 200 other vintage and veteran boats we took part in the “Classic Boat Meet”, celebrating the one and only Swedish Olympic Games held in 1912.
No German boats this year, but some new friends and Rivas from Finland and Monaco, as well as Glenns beautifully restored Ariston 848, in the water for the first time after 6 years of hard work…
With the finger on the camera trigger were Magnus Berg, Glenn Ljungberg, Magnus Rietz, Jorma Rautapää and Olle Erlandsson.
Also a special thanks to Bengt Parmell, who was one of the organizers of the Classic Boat Meet, and fixed the best moorings for our Rivas!
Enjoy yourself!
Probably the biggest classic boat meet ever held in Europe?
More than 200 boats, and our Rivas was about the youngest ones! Some of the sailboats actually took part in the competions during the Olympic Games in 1912, though the crew was changed in 2012...

No Riva meeting without a proper Concours d' Elegance!
