The boat was delivered by Monaco Boat Service on August 6, 1965 to the director Mr. Andrea Rissoli in St. Jean Cap Ferrat as a gift to his wife Liuba Rosa.
The boat is mentioned in Riva the Myth under personalities. The boat was named Isandra II. Original upholstery in 1965 was colored in orange (Coral), black and cream white. Chris Craft 283 V8 engines were installed in the boat and still are, but with new engine blocks.
The boat was sold to the “Coca Cola king” in Italy, probably in 1968. The next owner was the Norwegian shipowner Waalstadt, who had the boat in the Virgin Island. In 1987, a repair was made to the boat in Sarnico after damage to the windshield frame. Then it got a new interior (wrong color though, créme and turquoise), new deck, windscreen and new varnish.
In 1990 it was bought by Nils Palmqvist in Denmark. In 2003 it was sold to a new owner in Copenhagen who sold it on to Pedro Calvalho in Portugal in 2009. I bought the boat in 2018 in Cascais Portimao in worn but working condition.
I am now in the process of restoring the boat to its original condition, neither better nor worse than original. In 2019, the interior was changed to the original colors, the instruments were renovated and the boat received new paint inside. The engine room was fixed in 2020.
Exterior paint and chrome to be fixed soon.
