Some Pictures from the 11th Swedish Riva Run&Fun 2008
This years Run&Fun was held in the south west of Sweden in the very picturesque town Båstad. The surroundings is a bit like mediterranean and being very lucky with the weather this year we shure enjoyed the meeting. Best of all was of course to meet all old friends, topped with some new ones.

Most boats arrived by sea, but three boats from Stockholm area and two boats from Germany was launched by crane on Sunday the 27:th in Båstad harbour.
River day was supposed to be an easy trip but fast streaming water followed by a water level drop of more than half a meter changed all that. Unfortunately my camera was out of battery this day...
The River day was ended with a trip in the late afternoon for dinner in the nearby seaside village Torekov. A thrilling return around midnight ended an exciting day.
We meet beacuse of our mutual interest in the Riva boats, but when we meet, the people are equaly important for the succes of the meeting...
As always the meeting was ended with a Gala Dinner with traditional price giving ceremony.
